Project Overview #
Sazka is the most popular lottery and game show broadcaster in the Czech Republic. Their television studio required a visually spectacular LED installation capable of producing the high-energy animated environments game shows demand.
LED Strip Studio delivered a complete studio using 4x4 cm LED pixels covering over 500 metres of studio surfaces.
4x4 cm Pixel Format #
Larger pixel modules rather than conventional strips provided:
- Higher brightness suitable for intense studio lighting
- More even coverage with wider beam angles
- Bold visual impact — distinctive game-show aesthetic
- Precise spacing at exact intervals matching the set design
Game Show Requirements #
Game shows have unique LED requirements:
- Rapid colour changes in sync with game events
- High-energy animated effects — sweeps, flashes, colour explosions
- Pre-programmed show sequences triggered by the floor manager
- Audience-facing panels spectacular at all camera angles
The LED Strip Studio software’s playlist and trigger system allowed the show team to pre-programme complete show sequences that the floor manager triggers with a single button press.
The Sazka studio became one of our most visually striking broadcast installations.
