LED lighting is becoming increasingly common in apartments. Once reserved for luxury homes, it is now a feature of nearly every residential unit. They are typically used to illuminate kitchen cabinets or as LED bulbs for general lighting. However, colored RGB LEDs offer far greater possibilities.

LED lighting for kitchen cabinets #
Kitchen cabinet lighting is the most common application in homes. Typically, LED strips with a cold white color are used. However, some people prefer warm white. The advantage of cold white is that it doesn’t alter the color of the objects it illuminates, making it ideal for work. Warm white is better for relaxation.
Usually, only single-color LED strips (simple but effective) are used for kitchen lighting, since you typically don’t need to change the color.
LED Garden Lighting #
Gardens are often ideal for using LED lights. At night, it’s simply beautiful when your garden comes alive with light. For example, this is how we tested our LED strips in our former space:
LED living room lighting #
Here, you can get a bit more creative. Most often, people install LED strips that allow for RGB color changes. This lets you mix any color you want. But we prefer more out-of-the-box installations. Imagine your living room lighting changing colors in response to the movie you’re watching.
That’s exactly why we came up with a special controller called Reactivo. It lets you project the color atmosphere from the movie onto your ceiling, coffee table, lamp, or even your sofa. You can even specify which part of the image should be displayed on which lighting element in your living room. We call it a living room on steroids :).
Of course, these types of lights can also be used as conventional lighting. Simply change the color of your entire living room to red, white, or any other RGB color.
LED lighting for facades and homes #
Clients often consider lighting up their homes. This is especially common among corporate clients, but we’ve also encountered residential users, particularly during Christmas.
Lighting for gamers – Reactivo #
When it comes to computer games, immersing yourself in the atmosphere is the most important thing. Reactivo is once again the ideal solution for this.
Here, the sky’s the limit. Want to light up your boring IKEA lamp or bookshelf? No problem. Want to display your League of Legends character’s energy on your desk? Sure, perfect.
